299th Combat Engineers Gather For Reunion Event
During the Vietnam War, the 299th Combat Engineer Battalion fought and provided support for U.S. Allied Forces. We are forever grateful for their sacrifice. This past Saturday, September 21st, the 299th Combat Engineers held their Annual Reunion at the Wellsboro Fireman’s Annex here in the land of the endless mountains. State Representative Clint Owlett led members of the 299th in a time of memories, thanksgiving, and healing.
