On Wednesday, October 9th the Troy Lady Trojans soccer team hosted the Wyalusing Lady Rams on Senior Night.

The scoreboard was silent in the first half, both teams spending most of their time in the midfield. But 10 minutes into the second half, the Lady Trojans put in their first goal as Alexis McRoberts steals the ball and cranks it upper ninety from outside the box.

With just over 3 minutes in regulation, Troy scored again as McRoberts carries it up the field again, then give and go to Saydi Renzo, beats two defenders and the keeper. Goal! Trojans up 2.

A minute later the Trojans secure the shutout victory. Off of a Trojan corner kick, keeper deflects it but McRoberts is there to cleanup the trash, confirming her hat trick, finishing the game in Troy’s favor, 3-0.

The Lady Trojans will be back on the field again on the 14th as they host the Athens Lady Wildcats.
