Early in the 2nd quarter, the Hornets answered back. Wellsboro on the Warriors fifteen, Griffin Morral drops back to pass and finds Marek Mascho slant route over center. Johnathan Carl’s kick was good, tying up the score 7-7.

Later in the quarter, Warriors on their own 45 – Fitch back in the pocket sends a rocket down the line to Aydin Holcomb who dives over the goal line – retaking the lead 14-7.

Two minutes later, Ward in motion hits the outside for a 42 yard run. Touchdown! Canton up 21-7.

On Wellsboro’s ensuing drive, second and one, Morral goes to the air and finds a wide open Mascho for the 56 yard touchdown.

After a Warrior defensive score the Hornets had another scoring opportunity. Morral calls his own number and bobs and weaves through a legion of Warriors for a 58 yard run.

Third quarter, let’s check out the Wilkinson Dunn Company Play of the Game! With just under 7 minutes left in the quarter, Canton’s Fitch dishes it outside to Holcomb who takes it 84 yards down the line.

Both teams traded touchdowns a few more times on the night, but ultimately the Warriors stayed on top, claiming the victory 46-34.
